Kelli Jeanne Collins

Kelli Jeanne Collins has been dancing professionally since the age of nine years old. Kelli has been a dance instructor for 14 years. She has trained with the best dance instructors from all over the world. She was a principal dancer with Pacific American Ballet Theatre for 8 years. With the company she has performed all over the US including the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. She starred in Siegfried and Roy’s dance and magic show in Las Vegas for four years. Her passion and love for dance is shown thru her work.



Lindsey Anne Collins

Lindsey Anne Collins began her dancing career as a professional at age 10 with the Pacific American Ballet Theater, touring and performing for 7 years. Lindsey studied dance at Long Beach State and Cal-State LA, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Tap. Her passion is Ballet. She toured with a dance and Magic show in Japan for 3 years including Disney Tokyo. Lindsey has spent her life in the dance environment, she has taught dance from LA to the inland empire for 5 years. She has performed and choreographed for shows at the Old Town Temecula Theater, most recently Oklahoma. Her passion, her ability to teach is second to none. Her ability to chorography is one of her best talents. She has amazing ability and patience with children of all ages and loves to share her knowledge.



Joan Gair

Joan Gair taught ballet in CA and Hawaii for 40 years she was a former principal dancer with Pacific Ballet Theater and Ballet Pacifica. She danced with San Francisco Ballet, performed at the Shrine Auditorium with the Royal Ballet and National Ballet of Cuba, Acted, sang and danced as a resident dancer at Melody land/Carousel Theaters. Joan was an Artistic Director and teacher for Jane Powell Studios. Gravity X Dance Studio is happy to welcome her to our faculty.




Theresa Cataldo

Theresa Cataldo is a resident of Orange County; she trained and competed nationally with MKR Dance Productions since the age of 7. Theresa was the dance captain of the Brea Olinda High School Dance team where she was awarded Dancer of the year and top Choreographer. She now studies Dance at Mt. San Antonio College with intentions to transfer to Cal State Long Beach to finish her major in dance. Dancing is her passion. Her goal as a teacher is to inspire young dancers to discover and embrace their talents.



Karen Alvarez

Karen Alvarez started dancing when she was 10 years old and has been in both jazz and hip hop competition teams through out middle school and high school. She performed with Dance Live, which is a drug awareness performing group for Friday Night Live in Riverside for 2 years. She has always competed in hip hop and taught classes for the last 4 years. She is currently performing and choreographing for “The Booniez Crew”, a very passionate up and coming hip hop group.



Sarah Tipton

Sarah Tipton has been dancing since the age of 5. She has trained in many styles including tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop, and ballet. She took lessons at Imperial Dance Studio from ages 5 through 11 where she gained a strong, technical dance foundation. Although she enjoyed every style of dance, she grew particularly fond of her tap classes taught by Todd Van Dorn. She took a couple years away from the studio to get used to her new schedule as a dance major at the Orange County High School of the Arts. She returned to the studio at age fifteen and by age sixteen she began her teaching career with her own tap and hip hop classes. After graduating from OCHSA in 2009 she attended Orange Coast College to further her education. While at OCC she had the pleasure in taking advanced tap classes taught by Linda Sohl Ellison, the founder of the tap company Rhapsody in Taps. She was invited to perform a piece from the Rhapsody in Taps repertoire at an Orange Coast College Faculty Dance Concert. Sarah has also had the exciting opportunity to perform as a member of a tap company called Here’s II Lyfe.



Kendall Russo

Kendall has been dancing for over 17 years. She has trained in various dance genres including jazz, tap, hip-hop, African, ballet, and modern dance. In the spring of 2014 she will graduate from Cal State Fullerton with her B.A. in dance. She recently has worked with Daniel Charon artistic director of the Ririe-Woodbury  Dance Company, and has had the honor to work with Jonathan Fredrickson, who has danced with the Jose Limon Dance Company and is currently dancing/ choreographing for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Kendall would like to thank her Gravity X Dance family for all their love and support



Daniel Miramontes

Daniel Miramontes Has been rigorously training in Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Ballroom for the past 4 years, and recently began taking tap, Improvisation and Choreography to further his knowledge and understanding of dance as an art form. He began his training at 18 years old and would not be the dancer he is today without the guidance and training from Mark Olson, Tennille Lambert, Theresa Cataldo, and Kelli Jeanne Collins along with the amazing staff at Gravity X and many others who he is so thankful for. Daniel is a dancer in the Dance Department at Mt. San Jacinto College where he has performed original Jazz and Modern pieces choreographed by Mark Olson and Tennille Lambert on various occasions. He was also selected as a scholarship recipient to represent MSJC at the American College Dance Festival in 2012 where he was able to take various styles of master classes ranging from Contemporary to Musical Theater to Jazz Funk. He wishes to further his dance education and transfer to a higher institution in the near future. Daniel Also choreographs for the dance team, competition hip hop team and the dance classes at Temescal Canyon High School for their annual dance shows. He aspires to be a dancer who can make a difference in someones life, to make others experience and feel something that they have never felt before. His love and passion for dance pushes him to improve and be better so that he can give the best to his students and everyone around him.



Joey Maminez

Joey is a choreographer that focuses on intricate movement. With special interest in Hip Hop styles of B-boging, popping, and locking. Joey has traveled and taught in many countries such as Japan and Korea. Joey emphasizes on the ideal that dance shouldn’t be about becoming famous; it should be about having fun



Devante Lewis-Jones 

Devante started dancing senior year of high school in 203 at Chaparral High. During that same year, he trained and performed at Temecula Dance Company in multiple styles of dance such as Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballet. After high school, Devante began to attend Mt. San Jacineo where he started studying. He is not working on transferring to UC Irvine where he wants to acquire his Bachelor Degree in Dance. Devante takes a special interest in Hip Hop and hopes that one day he’ll be a profound teacher.
